1. Place Your Order
   Complete the checkout through our website. Your order will be recorded and payment will be authorized but not processed.
   
2. Review & Sign the Agreement
   After checkout, you will receive a secure email with the 'Release & Hold Harmless Agreement' to be signed and returned prior to receiving your drawing set.
   
3. Order Processing
   Once we receive the signed agreement back from you, we will process the payment and prepare your drawing set for delivery. For quality control purposes, this preparation could take up to 8 business days.
   
4. Drawing Set Delivery
   Your drawing set will be delivered digitally via email or secure download. All purchases are subject to our Return Policy and Terms of Service below.

Our ready-made house plans are pre-designed architectural documents. Because these plans are not created for a specific site, jurisdiction, or set of construction conditions, we require execution of a Release, Acknowledgment & Hold Harmless Agreement prior to fulfillment.

This agreement confirms that you understand the plans are not site-specific architectural or engineering services, have not been reviewed for local building codes, zoning ordinances, HOA requirements, or site conditions, and will require review and adaptation by licensed local professionals as required by law.

This process allows us to provide thoughtfully designed architectural work while ensuring clarity around scope, responsibilities, and appropriate use of the plans.

Due to the digital nature of this product, all sales are final.

Once house plans or related design files have been delivered to the email address you provide, they cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged. Digital files cannot be “sent back,” so please review all plan details carefully before purchasing.

If you have any questions about a plan’s layout, square footage, features, or suitability for your lot, feel free to contact us before placing your order.

Order Changes & Cancellations

You may request a cancellation only if your files have not yet been delivered.

After delivery, no cancellations or refunds can be issued.

1. License, Use & Limitations

Your purchase includes a single-use, non-transferable license to construct one (1) residence from the selected plan.

The plans may not be resold, shared, reproduced, distributed, or used to construct more than one residence without purchasing an additional license.

You may share the plans with your builder, engineer, or local permitting authorities as reasonably required for your project.

2. Local Requirements & Modifications

Plans are prepared to general residential standards and may require modification to comply with local building codes, engineering requirements, HOA guidelines, and site-specific conditions. You are responsible for verifying compliance and obtaining any required professional review or modifications.

3. No Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Plans are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, including code compliance or suitability for a specific site. We are not responsible for construction issues, site conditions, delays, or additional costs. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the plan.

4. Intellectual Property

All plans remain the intellectual property of Waddell & Willcutt Architecture and are protected by copyright. Purchase of a plan grants a limited license only and does not transfer ownership of the design.
